Tove Lo makes a few grown men uncomfortable as she dances in a series of bikinis in the guerrilla style “Bikini Porn” music video.
In the music video for “Bikini Porn” that looks like it was shot on a smartphone camera, Tove Lo wears bikinis and dances in places such as the liquor store, a hotel pool and a truck stop.
“I’m on bikini porn/ Layin’ out in the sun/ I got those marks on my body/ You, you’re looking pale as fuck/ You, like you’re all out of luck/ You got those sad eyes for money…” sings Ebba “Tove Lo” Nilsson.
It is part of a two-track EP titled Bikini Porn that dropped this month. The B-side is called “Passion and Pain Taste the Same When I’m Weak.” Rolling Stone reports that it was cowritten with Finneas, who is Billie Ellish’s brother and collaborator. The prolific singer-songwriter just released her fourth studio length LP Sunshine Kitty last September 2019.
Still Tove Lo harasses those men when she bikini dances and it’s not professional. That is why the manager has to ask her to leave the store. And it is a bad idea to do that to your Uber driver if you want to keep your five-star rating. However the men must have signed some sort of legal agreement though if they appear in the official music video. And now they’re famous.
Tove Lo posted behind the scenes footage from the music video shoot on her official Instagram account. The artist comments, “#BIKINIPORN Video is out! Anyone shocked it’s basically me running around in a bikini? Didn’t think so. Thank you @monibelle and @clyde.munroe for this beautiful weirdness. You put the fun in run and gun ❤️ To the good people of Victorville and Hesperia, thank you for being so nice and for not calling the cops on me. Time to drink champagne all day xx.” So maybe that is why she is dancing at truck stops.
Tove Lo is going on a North American tour all this February. It is possible she will wear a bikini. Cop tickets at Bandsintown.
