Seeb, Olivia O’Brien & Space Primates ‘Fade Out’ in Song

Norwegian production duo Seeb got together with American singer-songwriter Olivia O’Brien and British production duo Space Primates. This resulted in their latest single “Fade Out.”

“I don’t wanna ghost you but/ I don’t really wanna go through/ Just another uncomfortable conversation/ So this is where I fade out…” sings O’Brien in an ode to when dating doesn’t really work out.

You may remember O’Brien from the 2016 hit “I Hate U, I Love U” with Gnash. Seeb is made up of Simen Eriksrud and Espen Berg from Norway. They did an official remix of “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” by Mike Posner. Space Primates have worked with Pitbull, Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis.

i did a live version of we lied to each other with @vevo u can swipe up on my story to watch !! i’m really proud of this performance and the way i sing this song, i have had my fair share of awful live performances in my day whether it was because i was sick, scared, or just having a bad day and i’ve always been really down on myself about my voice. i always tell people that i consider myself a songwriter wayyyy before i’d ever call myself a “singer” and that the term “singer” scares me because i grew up never thinking my voice was good enough. i used to be afraid to belt and to sing with soul and emotion and push my voice but i’ve slowly been conquering my fear and singing the way i know i was always meant to! instead of worrying about having a voice crack i just sing and it turns out that the less i think about my singing the better it sounds 😂 i’m sure i’ll have plenty more vocal fuck ups in my career but that’s just life and i’m not afraid of a voice crack anymore 🙂

O’Brien recently did a live performance at Vevo and wrote a lot of stuff about it on her official Instagram account. She basically says she feels self conscious about singing sometimes.
