DJ/producer Alan Walker and Norwegian singer Ruben are “Heading Home” in the third and final part of the World of Walker trilogy.
It is good that Alan Walker and Ruben Markkusen are “Heading Home” in their new music video, and you should be too. The official music video is an elaborate production.
“Nobody sees me, now I’m a one man show/ I’ll do this on my own/ We knew it all then now this is all I know/ Guess I’m heading home now…” sing Ruben in the chorus.
This is part three of the World of Walker trilogy. It started in October 2018 with “Diamond Heart” which confused us because they called it a trilogy and we did not realize there would be more videos so it didn’t fit the definition of the word trilogy.
A trilogy is a group of three related things, such as screenplays. It comes from the Greek root word trilogia, from tri- ‘three times’ + logos ‘story’ (Oxford Dictionary).
But according to the video description the World of Walker trilogy as we know it consists of part one, “On My Way” featuring Sabrina Carpenter, and Farruko, and part two, “Alone, Pt II” featuring Ava Max. So it’s a trilogy with more than three parts.
Walker stated, “Walkers! I’m extremely excited to finally release Heading Home! It’s a very special song for me, because I first started working on it right after releasing ‘Faded.’ I’ve performed it live a couple times, but never released it anywhere – until now! The extremely talented Norwegian artist Ruben has joined me on this one, he’s amazing! This music video is the final chapter in the World of Walker trilogy.
