The Vans sneakers you know and love are now updated to a more comfy version in all styles. You could work in them or go for a long walk.
Vans is a favorite American shoe company that is based in Santa Ana, California. But if you have ever needed them around at a large event, or work an eight-hour shift standing up, they don’t offer a lot of support. New Vans ComfyCush have a thicker, soft sole that won’t quit on you.
Vans Womens ComfyCush Sk8-Hi ($75/pair)
The new ComfyCush style of Vans is available for women, men and children. For women it comes in 53 varieties, including the Old Skool, Sk8-Hi and Sk8-Hi Reissue, Slip-On, Era, Authentic, Fuzzy, Zushi SF and more. They come in many different colors, styles and hybrids.
To demonstrate how comfortable new ComfyCush is Vans posted a photo of it on their official Instagram account. It is a teal-ish foam material that is in a thin layer above the sole. According to an interview in Forbes, “As a way to compliment the new underfoot cushioning, the ComfyCush models also include upgrades to material and construction on the interior of the sneaker. Designers eliminated panels inside to reduce hot spots, added a panel along the heel for additional grip, changed to a cotton-based inside material for a softer feel and a perforated foot bed cloth. The ComfyCush system also includes tongue tie-downs to keep the tongue in place.”
