Katy Perry goes to a 60’s commune-like spa in the official video for “Never Really Over” a song that was produced by Zedd.
The music video for “Never Really Over” was inspired by commune living circa the 60’s and 70’s. But it is also a health retreat where Katy Perry tries to get over heartbreak with spa treatments.
“I’m losing my self control/ Yeah, you’re starting to trickle back in/ But I don’t wanna fall down the rabbit hole/ Cross my heart, I won’t do it again…” sings Perry in the opening lyrics.
The song was produced by Zedd and Dreamlab, which Zedd confirmed on his official Instagram account. He just dropped “365” with Perry last February. “Call You Mine” is going to be part of Perry’s forthcoming fifth studio length album that does not have a title or release date yet.
Meanwhile the pop star has set up five “Bus Stops to Freedom” across the US to promote the single. They are located in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Houston. Fans are supposed to visit the freedom bus stops and take a selfie. Hashtag it #NeverReallyOver and she might repost it. Or maybe a magic bus being driven by Perry will appear to take you to her commune, but don’t hold your breath. The addresses are available at her official Instagram profile.
