Aazar released a track called “Diva” featuring Swae Lee and Tove Lo. In the music video a meteor shower settles over Los Angeles.
French producer Aazar is signed to Mad Decent. He met Swae Lee at Paris Fashion Week and they decided to produce a song called “Diva” with Tove Lo. In the official video a lot of people are at the mercy of a comet shooting diva that plays Swae Lee’s love interest, although Tove Lo sings.
“Push up if I need to (Woo)/ Looking for a carefree diva/ Drowning the butterflies inside your stomach/ Every time that you drink up…” sing Swae Lee and Tove Lo in harmony.
On his official Instagram Aazar explained how the collaboration came to be. “A year ago I found myself walking on the same street as @swaelee in Paris!” he continues, “I got the confidence to approach him and say we should work together on some of the amazing demos I had to send him.” Then he explains, “Somehow we were lucky and also got @tovelo on the track with us. This is the story…I’m so glad you all will finally get to listen to our song…”
Meanwhile Tove Lo, aka Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson, stated that she was going to wear tiaras from now on, in reference to her look in the video. Famous rapper Swae Lee, aka Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, didn’t really say anything about the track on Instagram. He did post a lot of selfies.
