Zedd and Katy Perry released a single called “365” and in the music video she is a sex robot (or something) that he eventually breaks.
The future is here and in it Katy Perry collaborates with Zedd on a track called “365.” The official video is a scenario in which she is an advanced robot that he uses at home like an appliance.
“I want you to be the one that’s on my mind/ On my mind, on my mind/ I want you to be there on a Monday night/ Tuesday night, every night/ Are you gonna be the one that’s on my mind?/ 3-6-5, all the time…” sings Perry in the chorus, which explains the title of the song.
The single is about love versus obsession, something that two pop stars know a lot about — just check their recent Instagram comments. Most major record labels encourage music fans to obsess over their favorite artists because it’s good for business. But in the music video Perry is a robot that breaks down because she becomes engrossed with her owner, Anton “Zedd” Zaslavski.
This is Perry’s first single since “Bon Appétit” with Migos in 2017. The track will be on Zedd’s upcoming fourth studio length album along with “The Middle” with Maren Morris and Grey, and “Stay” with Alessia Cara. It does not have a title yet and he seems to be taking his sweet time.
Zedd was recently nominated for two Grammys for “The Middle” including Best Record and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. But his music is actually good so he didn’t win.
