Ellie Goulding did a song called “Close to Me” with Diplo and Swae Lee. And now there is a music video in which they wear Gucci.
The music video for “Close to Me” by Ellie Goulding, Diplo and Swae Lee was shot in Budapest, Hungary. She is wearing a ton of clothes the whole time, but it’s Gucci so it’s street/runway fashion.
“Even though we both know we’re liars and we start each other’s fires/ We just know that we’ll be alright/ Even though we’re kicked out the party ’cause we both hate everybody/ We’re the ones they wanna be like…” sings Goulding in the opening lines of the song. Lee accompanies her later.
Swae Lee, aka Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, is one of the Rae Sremmurd brothers.
That much Gucci would be prohibitively expensive, luckily they send it to them for free.
“Close to Me” dropped last October, but the music video came a month later. The single was number one in Belgium, and was in the top 40 in 11 countries including the US and UK.
