Die Antwoord debuted a music video for “Alien” featuring the Black Goat, and more new music is probably on the way.
Ninja and Yolandi Visser are at it again with the Black Goat and a new song about being an alien. Yolandi sings alone for this one, and Ninja only appears as an extra in the video.
In the music video Yalandi sings about feeling out of place when she was growing up, like an alien. But then she goes into an abandoned warehouse and metamorphosizes into her current form. The alien looks like a large insect wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The title “Alien” could be a reference to Ninja’s Instagram handle @zef_alien. Or it could be a hint that there is an alien themed Die Antwoord album on the way, but they haven’t said.
The Black Goat, aka DJ Muggs from Cypress Hill aka Lawrence Muggerud, is also credited on “We Have Candy” from Die Antwoord’s last studio album Mount Ninji and da Nice Time Kid (2016).
According to their borderline offensive official website “Alien” by Die Antwoord is coming soon.
