Vans x Van Gogh’s new sneakers explore the art of Vincent Willem van Gogh, one of the most influential artists in recent history.
When Vans representatives went to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam it made such an impression on them they were inspired to collaborate on sneakers.
Vans revealed the new collaboration via Instagram. “The Vans x @VanGoghMuseum collection arrives soon. Sign up for updates and be the first to know…” they stated briefly.
According to the website, profits from the Vans x Van Gogh project will go to the museum. The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam is dedicated to, “Preserving Van Gogh’s legacy and collection of art, keeping it accessible for future generations.” It is a non profit organization.
