In the music video for “Rock Music” Shlomo draws inspiration from rock musicians and plays the electric guitar wearing a pink wig.
Henry “Shlomo” Laufer can be seen playing the electric guitar in a pink wig for the “Rock Music” video. It’s a compilation of rock n’ roll related images as well as a tribute to Nirvana music videos.
Sholomo of the We Did It Collective dropped The End LP last March via Friends of Friends. Even though he produces music for famous rappers and singers like Chance the Rapper and Jeremih, it didn’t really gain that much traction. The top music blogs posted about it but you would have to actually read those to know about it. Or follow Shlomo on social media somewhere.
The End is an all instrumental album with no vocals from his famous collaborators. It is named after the apocalypse. Last March they released a video for the title track “The End.” Directed by Michael Renteria it was a soothing slideshow of what looks like video clips from a trip to Asia.
This “The End” should not be confused with Shlomo’s 2014 track “The End” featuring Jeremih and Chance the Rapper. They are two different songs that came out five years apart.
On his official Instagram account Shlomo announced he will go on a tour of Europe and North America this summer. Hopefully he will play his remix of “Fuck You All the Time” by Jeremih. There is going to be some pretty serious swaying going on, as most of his music has a slow BPM.
