In the music video for “Between the Lines” Robyn and friends frolic around Ibiza and capture vacation footage on a video camera.
“Between the Lines” is the third single from Robyn’s eight studio length album Honey that dropped last October. For the music video she took a nice trip to Ibiza, Spain with some of her friends.
“It’s not your words/ (You know I like it)/ It’s what’s in-between them/ There’s no need to spell it out/ (It makes my heart jump)/ I know you want it/ And I like it baby…” sings Robyn Miriam Carlsson.
The track has more of a nu-disco feeling than the previous singles from Honey, which were “Honey” and “Missing You.” It was written and produced by Robyn and Swedish producer Klas Åhlund. But Robyn’s former collaborator Kindness did make it Ibiza with the group. Also there was the music video director SSION. In part of the video Robyn wears a purple bikini over a yellow pantsuit.
On her official Instagram account, Robyn stated, “This video for Between The Lines was shot last summer when I spent some time in Ibiza with friends. SSION came along and captured some of it on his dv-camera. Please enjoy! 💜 #arrestme @pikesibiza.”
She also revealed she will be wearing pieces from her Bjornborg collaboration on tour. Shop the Robyn x Bjornborg collection at their official web store.
