In the music video for “i’m so tired…” by Lauv and Troye Sivan they drive around at night and sing about how tired they are of love songs.
Lauv, aka Ari Staprans Leff, and Troye Sivan, South African-Australian singer-songwriter, collaborated on a single called “i’m so tired” with no capitalization.
“Party, trying my best to meet somebody/ But everybody around me is falling in love to our song/ Hate it, taking a shot ’cause I can’t take it/ But I don’t think that they make anything that strong, so I hold on...” sings Lauv in the preamble to the chorus. Will he ever find the one?
It’s the kind of song you could listen to on a television drama during a drive home after an emotional revelation or argument. The single will be on Lauv’s upcoming studio length album Blurry Bodies tentatively scheduled for release this year.
Lauv recently dyed his hair blue, which matches his blue eyes. On Instagram Sivan calls Lauv his boyfriend, and mentions they are playing Jimmy Kimmel Live this February 6. But it’s not clear if they’re gay or so comfortable with their sexuality they can make jokes.
