Proceeds from the sales of Limited Edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer go to ocean conservation foundations, and Jhené Aiko uses it.
Limited-Edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer is made from sea kelp, and the sale of each jar goes to the La Mer Blue Heart Oceans Fund. La Mer founded the organization in 2017 to give back to the ocean that has given them so much. Now they have help from singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko.
Limited Edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer ($490 each)
Formulated from natural ingredients like Miracle Broth™, lime tea and seaweed-algae extract, La Mer gets it’s name from the sea. At $490 per jar, the rich moisturizing cream is considered one of the biggest indulgences one can spend on their skin. The product is a beauty legend. Now you can feel slightly better about splurging on it because it raises awareness about the ocean.
To promote the new campaign La Mer and Aiko went scuba diving in Fiji with Jacque Cousteau’s grandson Philippe Cousteau. Aiko stated, “That was amazing,” as she emerged from the water. In another video for the brand she says Blue Heart Crème is her beauty secret. (That and genetics.)
According to company representatives, “In 2017, La Mer launched the Blue Heart Oceans Fund to protect what we love and to ensure a future of flourishing seas for generations to come. We are committed to protecting marine habitats across the globe through awareness-raising initiatives, charitable donations and beach clean-ups.”
Limited-Edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer is available at the official web store of La Mer. It is also for sale at Sephora.
