Illenium and John Bellion rhymes. And they got together on a track called “Good Things Fall Apart” with a science fiction themed video.
Illenium and John Bellion collaborated on a new single titled “Good Things Fall Apart.” In the music video the producer and the singer-songwriter must flee Earth in rocket ships before it’s too late. Notice how a fiery phoenix emerges from the ashes of a devastated planet at the end.
“Tell me what you hate about me/ Whatever it is, I’m sorry/ Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah/ I know I can be dramatic/ But everybody said we had it/ Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah…” sings Bellion.
The track is an interesting mix of emo band times EDM song. It’s going to be part of Illenium’s third studio length album Ascend scheduled for release on August 19, 2019. You might recognize Illenium, aka Nicholas D. Miller, from his residencies at Hakkasan, Omnia and Wet Republic. He also did an official remix of “Don’t Let Me Down” by the Chainsmokers.
Bellion is a rapper, singer-songwriter and music producer from Long Island, New York. He has released five studio length albums since 2013 via Capitol Records.
On his official Instagram account Illenium stated he was “stoked” for the new album and tour, which is what cool music industry guys like Travis Barker and Lil Wayne would say. He also posted this picture with his girlfriend. They have a puppy together so it must be pretty serious.
