In their non-video beauty blog, Huda Beauty announced the newest Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes are inspired by precious gemstones.
Huda Beauty Precious Gemstones Collection includes five new Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes: Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz. The new line launches this September 14, 2018.
The brand made the announcement via their beauty blog Huda Beauty, which is different from their online store Shop Huda Beauty, or founder Huda Kattan’s YouTube channel.
Precious Stones Obsessions Palette – Ruby ($27)
According to Hattan, “Striking ruby red tones have to be one of my fav looks. Whether I’m feeling a sexy sultry eye or a feminine, flirty pink, this palette has me covered.”
Precious Stones Obsessions Palette – Topaz ($27)
Of the topaz she says, “In ancient Egypt, the stone was a symbol of the Sun God, and this fusion of gold, rich browns and amber shades is perfect for creating your very own goddess vibe.”
Precious Stones Obsessions Palette – Emerald ($27)
Kattan describes emerald, “I feel like green is such an under appreciated shade, and it’s definitely about to make a big come back – green is the new black!”

Huttan writes that, “I’m obsessed with the vivid turquoise shades and electric blue is just the coolest pop of color if you want to make a statement.”

And of the amethyst palette she writes, “I love to layer the softer pink hues for daytime, while the deeper purple and violet colors are perfect for evening.”
The Precious Stones Obsessions Palettes will be available from the official Shop Huda Beauty website. They will also be sold at Sephora and Selfridges.
