Converse and JW Anderson have been known to design sneakers together. Their latest collaboration is a pair of glittery Chuck 70s that come in four styles and eight different colors.

From top to bottom, the nasturtium/egret version is best suited for unicorns. The black/egret version is better for mermaids. Gold and silver Chuck 70 sneakers are for anyone that loves gold and silver. And the cherry/sulphur kicks are the most colorful. That’s our opinion not theirs.
Converse notes that the Chuck 70 Glitter sneakers celebrate what an icon can be, which is very shiny. They further note that the sneakers pay homage to the origin of the collaborative partnership. But they don’t mention if they mean their partnership with JW Anderson, or every partnership in history. That must go back thousands of years if you really think about it.
Sneakerheads might be thinking, wasn’t there a platform pair of glitter Chuck x JW Andersons? Yes they did make a limited quantity of Converse x JW Anderson Run Star Hike ($140) in blue/green and pink/red. But they were so awesome that they already sold out, so you have to pay more on Ebay or StockX. Hopefully they will release more of the super cool sneakers everyone wants.
