Duke Dumont is back for a new single called “The Power” with Zak Abel. See if you can figure out what the music video is about.
Music producer Duke Dumont and singer Zak Abel, both from England, made a music video for their latest single “The Power.” It is about two women that have a melodramatic adventure.
“You do me I’ll do you/ Feed me lies and we’ll find the truth/ Feel the light numb the pain/ Kiss the sky and we’ll make it rain/ Getting close breaking through…” sings Abel in the opening lyrics.
This is Dumont’s 19th single or EP since the first one in 2007. But he has still yet to release a studio length album. This follows “Red Light Green Light” with Shaun Ross that dropped last February.
But all hope for an LP is not lost. On his official Instagram account, Dumont posted behind the scenes footage in the studio working with real instruments. He notes they are adding finishing touches to the album. The producer signed to Virgin EMI in 2014, but has his own moniker Blasé Boys Club. Before that he was on Tiga’s record label Turbo Recordings.
