Diplo and Mark Ronson will debut Silk City at Governor’s Ball this June. The multi-genre experience takes place from June 1 to 3, 2018 at Randall’s Park in New York City.
Billboard reports that the two music producers first teased a collaboration in August 2017 when Diplo told GQ that he was working on a disco album with Ronson.
Meanwhile Pitchfork states that the new production duo is named after a diner called Silk City in Philadelphia where Diplo got his start as a DJ.

Silk City of Philadelphia is a renovated diner with a beer garden that serves American food such as fried chicken or meatloaf. Their motto is that, “Everything old is new again.”
