Stay put and don’t touch that dial because David Guetta has a new single called “Stay” featuring English pop singer Raye.
David Guetta‘s latest single in “Stay” featuring up and coming pop singer Raye, aka Rachel Agatha Keen from London. In the music video Raye pleads with her love interest to stay amid geometric visuals while Guetta stands around being a famous DJ/producer and possibly watching them.
“I need you babe/ Don’t go away, I love the taste, so stay the same, uh/ Babe, I save a place for you/ I got a place for two/ Don’t go away, don’t go away/ I need you to stay…” sings Raye through the chorus.
This is Guetta first original pop song since “Say My Name” with Bebe Rexha and J Balvin. That dropped six months ago along with a glow in the dark music video.
Raye is bigger in the UK where she has been featured on hit songs like “You Don’t Know Me” by Jax Jones and “By Your Side” by Jonas Blue. There was also “Check” with Kojo Funds.
On her official Instagram account Raye posted behind the scenes footage in the recording studio. She says that new music is on the way soon. Guetta also posted about the song, like a gentleman.
Guetta is playing Encore Beach Club Las Vegas before sojourning to Ibiza for the rest of the summer where he has multiple residencies. But he’s taking a few breaks to play music festivals in Europe, including Tomorrowland 2019 in Boom, Belgium. Check out the full tour schedule here.
