Carl Cox and Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco is headed to Bali, Indonesia where they will party with around 2,000 of their closest friends.
The Carl Cox and Eric Powell Mobile Disco started out in Melbourne, Australia. At this point they were already legendary 90’s house DJ’s from Manchester, UK, and they needed to switch it up. Now the regular event is headed to Bali this May to play an epic 8-hour long set poolside at Ulu Cliffhouse, a seaside resort that serves champagne cocktails and snacks.
BaliClubbing.net reports, “Carl & Eric will be doing what they do best! Digging deep through their extensive record collections and picking out their favourite soul, funk and house tracks that they were brought up with and tracks that have influenced them over the years.” Then they continue with, “It’s a known fact that they have many gems in the archives!”
Both Cox and Powell have vowed to play the entire 8-hour-long set in the blazing heat of the South Pacific sun. They are promising funk infused house vibes in Bali.
Ulu Cliffhouse is a beach club and resort with an infinity pool, gourmet restaurant, two bars, a recording studio, a daycare and a private beach deck shown above. They opened last December 2017, and Mike D. from the Beastie Boys has partied and performed there.
It’s all happening from 10:00am on Saturday, May 19, 2018 to 12:00am on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Tickets to this event start at $55 for early bird packages. Bronze Sunbed Packages are available for groups of five. Reserve your seats at Eventbrite.
