The music video for “TIME” by Alesso features a cute dancing robot in a world that has been destroyed by something they don’t reveal.
In the official video for “TIME” by Alesso, a robot explores a ruined landscape where he may be the last one left. It is reminiscent of the themes from WALL-E (2008) OR 9 (2009), but with Alesso.
“I’ve been wasting my time/ But damn, it feels right/ I’ll be gone, gone, gone, yeah, for good/ It was just one try, now we’re hooked…” intones a mysterious voice over the techno beat.
The track is part of Alesso’s Progresso Volume 1 mixtape that dropped last Friday. The other songs on the three-track mix include “PROGRESSO” AND “CONFESSION.” Progresso is Portuguese for “progress” and that goes with the futuristic theme of the music video. His last music video for “REMEDY” was about alien children who need his music to get back home.
Alesso, aka Alessandro Lindblad from Sweden, didn’t say much about the new work on his official Instagram, or even change the expression on his face — just like the cute robot.
