Tiesto Drops Remix of ‘Happier’ by Ed Sheeran

What could be better than the music of Ed Sheeran? Now there is a slightly revised remix of “Happier” done by Tiësto!

Last April, English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran released a music video for “Happier” that featured puppets. Now in June they are dropping the big remix track by superstar DJ Tiësto.

Tiësto has dubbed this one the AFTR:HRS Remix, because it is a danceable track intended for club play. Women inexplicably love the music of Sheeran, but he usually plays acoustic guitar. This is an EDM remix that you can listen to sometimes instead of playing the original over and over again. And since it’s a Tiësto remix, it is still considered mainstream pop music.

Neither Sheeran nor Tiësto posted about the new remix on Instagram or Twitter. Apparently they were both very busy playing more than one stadium show. So much partying.

This is not the first EDM remix of Sheeran’s music. Diplo and Galantis did official remixes of “Shape of You” last year. The Galantis rendition is on the Slutty Raver Costumes Spotify playlist. Stream it and the rest of the EDM songs in the media player in the sidebar to the right.

The official Tiësto AFTR:HRS Remix of “Happier” by Ed Sheeran is available to download on iTunes, or to stream on Spotify.

Silk City is the new super DJ group consisting of Diplo and Mark Ronson. Did you know that Skrillex and Gesaffelstein produced music on the Weeknd’s last EP about Selena Gomez?
