Ummet Ozcan, a Dutch progressive house music producer, teamed up with PollyAnna on a single called “Starchild” out now via Spinnin Records. The video has an outer space theme. She plays a space lady draped in purple robes with exceptionally long, rhinestone embellished nail art.
“Star child/ Always pushing me away/ From the dark side/ To the outside line…” begins PollyAnna in a very high, almost child like singing voice.
The self described blindly optimistic dream pop singer is from from the Netherlands. She also plays acoustic guitar. A pollyanna is defined as an excessively cheerful, optimistic person.
Ozcan is big in Europe, where DJ Mag dubbed him the 23rd top DJ in the world in 2018. He has collaborated with Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike, Steve Aoki, Paul van Dyk, W&W, Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren and many more. His last release was “Trash Moment” with Coone and Villian.
