Zedd scored a documentary called One Strange Rock, about the solar system in which we live. It premieres tonight on National Geographic.
Watch the trailer for One Strange Rock, a documentary series about space produced by National Geographic, with Will Smith as narrator. The song playing in the background is “Love Letter to Earth” produced by Zedd for the occasion. Please note it belongs to Interscope Records.
The documentary explores how life evolved on Earth, and why this is such a rare occurrence in the universe. It was directed by award-winning filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. In addition to Smith, the star of space movies like Independence Day (1996), they talk to astronauts.
Zedd tweeted that he is happy to go back to his classical roots, because he is a trained musician.
So happy I was given the chance to go back to my classical roots and write this piece of music for @natgeo‘s new project “One Strange Rock,” airing tonight. pic.twitter.com/xmmmqHUEKP

Speaking of outer space there is this subculture known as galaxy goth. There must be a Hollywood/EDM conspiracy because Alan Walker just released a remix for The Greatest Showman (2017).
