Both Vanessa Hudgens and DJ duo Phantoms were child actors. Now they have written a song called “Lay with Me” with a new music video.
Phantoms, aka Kyle Kaplan and Vinnie Pergola from Los Angeles, and Vanessa Hudgens, have collaborated on a track called “Lay with Me” and there is a talent show themed music video.
“Want you to lay with me/ I don’t know where this is going/ Every time we touch is gold/ Want you to lay with me/ Nothing can be left unspoken/ Every time we touch is golden…” sings Hudgens, which is rather biblical of her. (Because in the Bible they say “lay with” instead of sex.)
Hudgens is best known for being in High School Musical (2006). Kaplan has appeared in TV shows like Hannah Montana and CSI: Miami, but now he is concentrating on film. Pergola has been on The Bernie Mac Show and That’s So Raven. The DJ duo has been more successful in the music industry. Last year they did an official remix of “Side to Side” by Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.
Meanwhile on Instagram, Hudgens has been posting a lot of goth selfies and hanging out in cemeteries. She seems to be going through a dark phase, and is ready for more serious roles. She has over 30 million followers and meets all the qualifications to be a wild former child actress.
