Towkio and SZA released a music video that takes place in outer space that is glitch/hip hop with lyrics.
SZA took a break from collaborating with Kendrick Lamar and the Met Gala to contribute to a track by Towkio. In the music video for “Morning View” a sad astronaut looks at pictures of a woman on his advanced smartphone device. It sounds more indie than what we usually hear from SZA.
Towkio, aka Preston Oshita, is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois, and a lesser known member of the sensible Save Money crew founded by Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper.
According to the press release, the video was directed by longtime collaborator Todd Barrett, and shot in the Los Angeles YouTube Space. The track is from Towkio’s debut album WWW (2018).
