The new Sade song “Flower of the Universe” is easily the best song on the soundtrack for the Disney Movie, A Wrinkle in Time.
After a seven year hiatus singer songwriter Sade Adu is still going strong for “Flower of the Universe.” The track debuted on the A Wrinkle in Time soundtrack, which debuted this week.
In the new song Sade croons, “They hear you when you cry/This love is far and wide/When you smile the stars align/Flower of the universe/And child of mine…”
Other entertainers included on the soundtrack are DJ Khaled with Demi Lovato, Sia, Kehlani, Chloe x Halle and Freestyle Fellowship. The score for the film is by Ramin Djawadi.
Pitchfork notes that Sade’s last studio album was Soldier of Love (2010) and her last musical release was in the form of The Ultimate Collection (2011).
