Nike revealed three styles of tartan plaid women’s Air Max sneakers that are coming soon. Get a closer look and find out where to score.
Three new styles of tartan plaid Nike Air Maxes are cued to drop this September 13 at 10 am EST. The women’s sneakers combine the best of traditional and sporty styles for a cozy fall look.
The Women’s Air Max 1 Se ‘Tartan’ What Goes with Plaid ($140) are based on the original Air Max design from 1987, and the design for tartan plaid from ancient Scotland.
From top to bottom, the Air Max ’97 ‘Tartan’ Clash Course ($180) juxtaposes contrasting Royal Stewart tartan plaids. The design of the ’97 is inspired by Japanese bullet trains. Below that the Air Max Plus TN SE Royal Mixup ($170) is an even uglier take on the chunky dad sneaker.
Rather than wearing plaid on your shirt like everyone else take it to the next level with your feet. The tartan plaid sneakers can be worn everyday with cutoff shorts, jeans or leggings.
Women’s Air Max ‘Tartan’ sneaker will be for sale at Nike’s official website September 13, 2018.
