Marshmello and CHVRCHES’ new single “Here with Me” now has an official video that is raising funds for the First Responder Network.
When American producer Marshmello and Scottish band CHVRCHES collaborated the result was “Here with Me.” For the music video they chose to do a fundraiser for the First Responder Network, a government authority that equips emergency responders such as firefighters and EMT’s. “Can I tell you something just between you and me?/ When I hear your voice, I know I’m finally free/ Every single word is perfect as it can be/ And I need you here with me…” sings Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES. The other members of the band are Iain Cook and Martin Doherty.
The music video follows the story of firefighters and one family of a firefighter in particular. The artists do not appear in the music video. It is one of Marshmello’s more hardcore music videos. Usually Christopher “Marshmello” Comstock does music videos about dinner with family and friends, or overcoming adversity in high school, or maybe fluffy kittens and puppies playing.
“Here with Me” will be on Marshmello’s upcoming third studio length album, tentatively titled Joytime III. They have not confirmed a release date as of yet. Another track on the LP will be “Sell Out” featuring SVDDEN DEATH, who is a producer named Danny from San Jose, CA.
Marshmello and CHVRCHES recently played Jimmy Kimmel Live together. They posted a group photo with the late night talk show host on the official Instagram account of CHVRCHES.
