MAC Cosmetics is releasing a limited edition red lipstick in a glittery tube for the 25th anniversary of Viva Glam.
Every year MAC Cosmetics releases a special product and donated the proceeds to a nonprofit organization. This year they chose to help women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. They designed a Viva 25 red lipstick that comes in a glitter tube. And they released a campaign featuring rights activists.
Proceeds from the MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam fund will go to help people of all ages, races and genders. They mention that buying one Viva Glam lipstick will provide 75 females with 45 minutes of HIV prevention skills. Another one will purchase three meals for two homeless LGBTQ youths.
The special edition Viva Glam 25 Lipstick ($19.50) comes in the coveted red glitter tube. The color is described as an intense brown blue. It looks good with many different skin tones.
There are also five limited edition Viva Glam Lipsticks ($18.50). They are represented by spokesmodel Winnie Harlow. The colors include an intense brown red, a subdued pink beige mauve, a muted brown plum, a neutral pink with a pearl luster, and a terra cotta plum with a pearl luster. Full proceeds will go to help people living with HIV or AIDS.
MAC Cosmetics has been doing a Viva Glam lipstick annually since 1994. Last year the MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam spokesmodel was Sia and her spokesmodel Maddie Ziegler.
MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam lipsticks are available at their official website while supplies last.
