LSD have released a self titled album with ten tracks that include their previous singles, and we are totally tripping out.
Labrinth, SIA and Diplo are LSD. They have now released a whole album that includes their five previous singles, and one Lil Wayne remix, plus four new tracks to listen to and enjoy.
You might remember “Audio,” “Genius,” “Mountains,” “Thunderclouds,” “Genius” (Lil Wayne Remix) and “No New Friends.” Now they are arranged in a studio length LP that you have to listen to all the way through to understand. Like in the days when you had to buy CD’s to hear music you liked.
LSD “dropped” five of the tracks last year via Columbia Records. It was originally scheduled to release in November 2018. However they pushed it back to April 12, 2019, which was just in time for Coachella Weekend 1. You can see their billboard in Coachella Valley at the top of the page.
On Instagram, Wesley “Diplo” Pentz stated, “This is what’s happens when your local community college cuts funding for the drama class, so they robbed Guitar Center but instead of going to the pawn shop like SIA suggested, Labrinth put a few LSD tabs in the Nestle Quick Strawberry Milk Barrel at the school dance, and they entered a talent show with the keyboards they had in the trunk of Maddie’s moms Kia Sportage and won a record deal,” which sounds like something someone on acid would think of. Also FYI if Timothy “Labrinth” McKenzie really did that he would go to prison for poisoning minors. And robbery is a felony as well.
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler didn’t pose for her own press shots sending her dancer Maddie Ziegler instead, which is kind of agism. (SIA is in her 40’s.) The group seems to be going through a psychedelic Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” phase. Diplo is wearing platform high heeled boots.
