Labrinth’s latest single “Miracle” has a music video about a boy who miraculously transforms into a bird person and finds acceptance.
Labrinth, 1/3 of LSD with Sia and Diplo, has a new single called “Miracle” that he is releasing solo. The official video follows the story of a young man who loves birds so much he turns into one.
“Take me to some place safe/ And take away this pain/ Yeah, I can hope and pray/ But who can save this day?/ Tell me the world’s alright/ Can’t tell me the world don’t mind a miracle…” sings Labrinth, aka Timothy Lee McKenzie from London.
The pop song is influenced by African spirituals. But it also has an electronica influence, especially during the chorus. This comes in the wake of “Don’t Fence Me In” released earlier this year.
On his official Instagram account Labrinth stated, “He saw a vision. He saw the future and who he would become and that’s when the fire in his belly grew mighty and the glint in his eyes gleam sharper. It was time, but the journey had only begun,” in regards to the new track and video. He also hinted a song called “Never Ending Fairytales” was coming when he posted the cover art.
