La Roux is back with their first new music in five years. They just released a music video for “International Woman of Leisure” and there’s more.
Synthpop sensation Eleanor “Elly” Jackson and Ben Langmaid have returned with new music and an album is coming soon. In the music video for “International Woman of Leisure” Jackson drives though a psychedelic landscape, and hangs out in her office wearing boss clothes.
“I’m an international woman of leisure/ Oh, you want me to go on? It’s my pleasure/ And now I can feel the change in the weather/ Oh, where I’m goin’, I know it’s much better…” sings Jackson.
The track is going to be part of their third full length studio album Superstition expected on February 7, 2020. It is their first LP since Trouble in Paradise (2014). And of course there was their self-titled 2009 album that included “Bulletproof” and “In for the Kill” that was officially remixed by Skrillex and Skream.
La Roux will be going on a US tour next March after their album drops. On their official Instagram account they note that pre-sale starts November 6, 2019. Cop your concert tickets via AXS.
