Australian music producer Flume and folk singer Vera Blue recently dropped a single called “Rushing Back” out of nowhere.
Flume and Vera Blue just released a surprise single called “Rushing Back” with an accompanying music video. Watch and listen as they pretend to drive a car in the official video.
“I always let the days slip away, I should have been making up my mind/ I never opened up, took it all in and now Iβm running out of time/ Sometimes I dream about going back, keeping all the things I left behind/ But now I know you canβt change the past, way too young to know the reason why…” sings Blue.
For right now the song is a single. This follows “Let You Know” featuring London Grammar in June 2019, and Quits EP with Reo Cragun in August 2019. Flume, aka Harley Edward Streten, has not released a studio length album since Skin in 2016. But his debut self titled LP was released in 2012. If he produces an LP every four years then the next one should be coming in 2020.
Vera Blue, aka Celia Pavey, is an Australian filk singer songwriter. She plays the violin and guitar. She released her debut album Perennial in 2017 on Mercury Records/Universal Music Australia. Her most popular songs are “Regular Touch,” “Settle,” “Hold” and now “Rushing Back.”
Here Flume and Vera Blue are pictured hanging out together in Amsterdam and looking suspiciously baked.
