This fall Dr. Martens has introduced four new styles of high heeled women’s boots, or four time more heeled booties than last year!
Dr. Martens have been the preferred steel-toed boot of nonconformists who all wear the same shoes since the 1960’s. Now you can look feminine and draw inspiration from the punk movement at the same time with four styles of heeled booties, all of which have a person’s name.
In 2017, Dr. Martens introduced the Persephone in tan, black, burgundy and white. They are still around on consignment websites like Ebay and Poshmark for about $100.
Say hello to Hurston, Averil, Magdelena and Kendra. You’re looking at a 3.5 inch heel with a 1.5 inch platform. From top to bottom are the Hurston Black Sendel ($150), the Averil Arcadia Cherry Red ($155) also available in black, the Magdelena II Black Sendel, and the Kendra Black Sendel ($170).
The heeled Dr. Martens have a more feminine toe and heel but still kick ass. You can wear them anywhere you would wear normal Dr. Martens boots, even EDM festivals!
Check out these boots and more at the official Dr. Martens web store.
