Dim Mak Collection Designs Punk Rock Outerwear

Dim Mak Collection by Steve Aoki released a bunch of jackets that are a collaboration with the punk rock heroes of Aoki’s adolescence.

Part of punk rock street fashion involves adorning a denim or leather jacket with studs and patches representing your favorite music. Steve Aoki was one of those punk kids growing up in Orange County, California, before he founded Dim Mak Records in his dorm room at college. Now he is releasing limited edition outerwear in a collaboration between Dim Mak and the following punk rockers: Bikini Kill, GG Allin, Joy Division, Sex Pistols, SS Decontrol and Youth of Today.

Before you EDM x rock one of these jackets it is important to understand the music Aoki was inspired by, otherwise you are just a big poser. Let’s review each collaboration.
