Australian production duo Hermitude made a song called “Every Day” with vocals by Hoodlem and a music video about dancing.
Hermitude are an electronic hip hop outfit out of New South Wales. They haven’t released music since 2016. Now all the sudden there is “Every Day” featuring Hoodlem, who is also Australian.
“Say my name and my heart starts burnin’/ Twist my back and my head starts turnin’/ Treat me nice, I believe it all/ Spin me three times, watch me fall…” begins Hoodlem in the opening verse.
It’s not the most original concept for a love song. But the Australian music production is super chill and on point. The dancing woman is Courtney Campbell who doesn’t usually wear glasses.
On their official Instagram account, Hermitude, aka Angus Stuart and Luke Dubber, aka El Gusto and Luke Dubs, mention that the video premiered on Complex UK, where we didn’t see it.
Both Hermitude and Hoodlem will be playing shows in Australia this spring. Although Hoodlem recently relocated to Toronto, Canada. See Hermitude’s tour schedule at their official website.
