Calvin Harris dropped an EP that he calls Love Regenerator 1. It is instrumental acid house music, not a pop song, but still it is new.
Calvin Harris, aka Adam Richard Wiles, premiered his latest EP Love Regenerator 1 on BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds with Annie Mac in the United Kingdom where they actually still have good radio. The producer’s team also uploaded a visual video representing “Hypnagogic (I Can’t Wait).”
Mac proclaimed the new project to be the Hottest Album in the World (of the day).
On the program Harris stated, “I am now solely in the business, and have been for the last four years, solely in the business of making music to make me feel good, in the hope that it makes other people feel as good, or even just a little bit as good, and improves their day. And that’s it.”
Harris hasn’t released a studio length album since Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1 in 2017. In 2019 he let go of two singles “I’m Not Alone” and “Giant” with Rag’n’Bone Man. There could be a LP on the way.
On his official Instagram account Harris appears to be taking some time to travel and do tourist stuff in between EDM festivals. He took a selfie in front of the Egyptian pyramids making himself seem like a normal guy you could drink a beer with at the pub. He also visited Indonesia.
