Nike will release the towering Women’s Vandal 2k Double Stack this May in both red and black.
The Vandal 2k Double Stack is a “remix” of the 1985 classic Nike Vandal High, which was worn by basketball players. The two stacked, bold and undeniably feminine cupsoles epitomize the contemporary expression of lift. Plus they have a little strap! Both are dropping on May 5.

There are two versions, red with blue stripes or black with gold stripes. According to Nike representatives, “Inspired by the OG colorway, a mix of metallic silver, red and obsidian come together with elevated materials to deliver a retro look with a twist.” However, “The metallic gold accents add energy to a staple black-and-white colorway.”

Hypebeast points out that Comme des Garçons debuted a stacked Nike Cortez during their Fall/Winter 2018 runway show at Paris Fashion Week. It was actually the most ready-to-wear garment worn by the models for the occasion. But they are couture.
