Ellie Goulding and blackbear collaborated on “Worry About Me” their latest single. The music video is a confusing blur of emotions.
“Worry About Me” by Ellie Goulding and blackbear is the latest single from both artists. In the music video they hang out wearing designer clothes, drive around in a nice car, and they’re bleeding.
“I thought I needed you to feel safe/ But now that I’ve been through it, I’m stuck in a good place/ Why you tryna put me in a different mood?/ Just because I’m still out seeing someone new..?” sings Goulding.
The track is going to be part of the singer’s fourth studio length album, along with “Hate Me” featuring Juice WRLD, and “Close to Me” with Diplo featuring Swae Lee. She has not released an album since Delerium in 2015 via Polydor. But she has dropped eight singles since then.
Matthew “Blackbear” Musto sings “Hot Girl Bummer” which is that song on the radio that goes, “Fuck you, and you, and you/ I hate your friends and they hate me too…” The singer-songwriter is affiliated with Interscope Records and Universal Music. He has his own label called Beartrap.
On her official Instagram account Goulding posted screenshots from the new video in which she appears to be bleeding from the nose. I’m not sure what that represents, but I don’t like the sight of blood. Hopefully both Goulding and Musto are doing okay and living a healthy lifestyle.
