Willow Smith appears in the new music video for “My Life” by Zhu and Tame Impala in a portrayal of suburban life.
Willow Smith aka Will Smiths daughter aka the Main Maenad, is in the new music video for “My Life” by Zhu and Tame Impala. This is a double collaboration for EDM producer Zhu aka Steven Zhu. Along with Smith is Tame Impala, a psychedelic rock band that fans of college radio enjoy.
At first Smith appears to be the only survivor in a terrible car accident. She wears boxers under low slung jeans. Then there are these flashes of scenes from suburb life drama. But it all makes sense somehow — except the plot. Also acting in the video are Tyler Cole, Nico Hiraga and West Adler.
The theme of letting people live their own lives has been popular recently. Rudimental and Major Lazer released “Let Me Live” featuring Anne Marie and Mr. Eazi this month. Watch the music video.
Zhu posted a photo on Instagram that was captured during the making of the video. They clearly have all access stickers adhered to their front shirt pockets.
