Winter is a time of year to celebrate the holidays with loved ones. EDM festival tickets make a thoughtful gift for the raver in your life. And they give you a chance to bond with them at a large events. Some of these take place outside in the snow. Others are south of the border for cruise season 2019. So you will need a warm raver costume, and some you can swim in too.

December 28-31

Lights All Night 2018

Taking place in Dallas, Lights All Night is a Texas style music festival and light show. Texan EDM fans will emerge from the woodwork to party with out-of-towners and dance to the music.

Hijinx Festival 2018

• Dates: December 28-30, 2018
• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
• Headliners: Bassnectar, Odesza, RL Grime and more!

That same weekend Hijinx Festival goes down in Philly with a bass friendly lineup that includes bohemian fan favorites and underground acts — plus beautiful downtown Philadelphia.

Snowglobe 2018

• Headliners: Above & Beyond, Diplo, Eric Prydz, Rezz, RL Grime and more!

Snowglobe is happening in Lake Tahoe again this year. It is an outdoor music festival during winter, so you will need an extra warm raver costume. There will be opportunities for winter sports.

Decadence Colorado 2018

• Headliners: Skrillex, Marshmello, Zed’s Dead, Claude Vonstroke and more!

Ring in the New Year with Skrillex and Marshmello at Decadence Colorado. With a name like that there should be a lot of chances to indulge and treat yourself. And cannabis is legal there.

Countdown NYE 2018

• Headliners: Zedd, Tiësto, Afrojack, Dillon Francis, Alison Wonderland and more!

Alternatively, Insomniac Events/Live Nation offer Countdown NYE in southern California. Local ravers and festival fans pretty much know NOS Events Center like the back of their hand by now.

January 5-15

Holy Ship! 2019

Holy Ship 2019 disembarks this January in time for resort season. Bass and hip hop fans will appreciate the chance to party on a boat with A-Trak, and wear a captain hat without looking crazy.

Groove Cruise Miami 2019

• Location: Key West > Cozumel, Mexico
• Headliners: Kaskade, Hot Since ’82, Markus Schulz, MK and more!

If house music is more your style then consider Groove Cruise Miami instead. This year’s costume theme parties are Tutus and Ties, Back to School, Show Your Colors and Team Up (couples).

January 17 – February 24

Igloofest 2019

The full lineup for Igloofest 2019 has yet to be announced. But we do know there will be igloos and a ferris wheel. Plus you get the chance to use your French lessons in a music festival setting.

Forbidden Kingdom 2019

• Headliners: Excision, Adventure Club, Zomboy, 12th Planet and more!

Florida loves a good rave, but that prog house stuff is for Miami dwellers. Forbidden Kingdom Fest features an all bass and dubstep lineup with a B2B set by Excision and Dion Timmer.

EDC Mexico 2019

• Headliners: Skrillex, DJ Snake, Kaskade, Kygo, W&W and more!

EDC Mexico 2019 offers the most complete lineup of the season. This includes a performance by Skrillex who Mexicans adore for some reason. They also have a lot of famous house DJ’s to enjoy.

If you time it perfectly you might be able to go to every single one of these winter music festivals, like Steve Aoki does. But you won’t be able to see every DJ set because a few overlap. Here’s looking forward to happy holidays and a merry EDM festival experience this season.
