Autumn is here. There is a crisp chill in the air. It’s time for the traditional harvest/music festival season. These are the best festivals for EDM fans.

Summer is over but fall is here and that is also a good time to go to a rave. Last year a lot of rave booties went viral while shuffle dancing at a music festival in autumn. Now anything could happen, including peace, love, unity and respect. And Halloween costumes are just around the corner.

Goldrush Festival 2018

Deadmau5 is making a rare music festival appearance at Goldrush 2018 this year. Usually he is too disgusted with corporate greed to participate but he accepted this invitation for some reason. Other headliners are Steve Aoki, Rich the Kid, Vince Staples, Slushii and Tokimonsta.

CRSSD Festival Fall 2018

CRSSD Festival 2018 is happening at the Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego this September. It’s chance to see amazing San Diego, where they have a beach and a lot of boats. Headliners include Duke Dumont, Flight Faculties, Autograf, Claptone, Jack Beats and many more.

October 5

Dirtybird Campout West Coast

• Dates: October 5-8, 2018

Dirtybird Campout is back for another round this October 2018, so you can hang out with the guys from Dirtybird Records. This year Mark Ronson and Salva are making an appearance at the Bass Lodge. There will be dance music and fun activities like boating, archery, bingo and more.

Austin City Limits 2018

• Dates: October 5-7, 2018

Austin City Limits music festival is livid this year with headliners like Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Travis Scott, Odesza and many more. This is not a pure EDM festival, there are other music genres included such as hip hop and indie rock. So dress accordingly.

October 13-15

Ultra Mexico 2018

Ultra Music Festival continues in Mexico City this fall. The house music extravaganza includes headliners Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Axwell B2B Ingrosso, Carl Cox, Galantis, Marshmello, Steve Angello and more. There is so much progressive house music it will blow your mind.

October 17-20

Amsterdam Dance Event

Amsterdam Dance Event is the biggest European house music conference and music festival in the world. It happens every fall in downtown Amsterdam, where the event takes up several city blocks. Pretty much every DJ in the Netherlands will be there. There are too many headliners to name.

Demon Dayz 2018

The Gorillaz are throwing their own music festival in the Los Angeles area this fall. It is sure to be a delightful Saturday afternoon of quirky and experimental indie electronica pop that goes viral on YouTube. The headliners include the Gorillaz, Erykah Badu, the Internet, Dram and others.

October 27-28

Voodoo Experience 2018

Voodoo Festival presents their EDM festival just in time for Halloween 2018. Like the melting pot of cultures in New Orleans, the event covers many genres of music. Headliners this year are Childish Gambino, Odesza, Martin Garrix, Marylin Manson, Janelle Monae and more.

Freaky Deaky Texas 2018

In Houston they are getting Freaky Deaky this Halloween at a big Texas-style rave. This is an EDM-only event featuring 12th Planet, Alison Wonderland, Chris Lake, Destructo, DJ Snake, Excision, Kaskade, Oliver Heldens, Porter Robinson, Yellow Claw, Zomboy and many more.

November 3

Hard Day of the Dead 2018

Hard Day of the Dead is back in 2018 with Insomniac Events and Live Nation at the helm. You can wear a second costume this fall for Day of the Dead. Famous DJ’s who will play music are Skrillex, Deadmau5, Gesaffelstein, Boy Noize, the Bloody Beetroots, Flosstradamus and more.

November 9

EDC Orlando 2018

Last year EDC Orlando was one of the biggest EDM festivals in terms of hits on Instagram. The people of Florida take time to dress up for raves and it shows. Everyone is looking forward to 2018 with headliners like Alesso, Bassnectar, Dillon Francis, Jayceeoh, Loudpvck, Pendulum and more.

November 23

Dreamstate So Cal 2018

Many types of people who enjoy trance music are going to Dreamstate in southern California. For some reason the genre particularly appeals to the LGBT community and college students. Headliners include Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn and more.
