Silk City and Dua Lipa joined forces on a single called “Electricity” and a music video where she dances through an apartment building.
Diplo, Mark Ronson and Dua Lipa have been teasing the release of “Electricity” for well over a month. Now that we are all aware of it the time was ripe for a new music video. The track is part of their production duo Silk City that they launched last summer.
In the video Dua Lipa practices with her backup dancers in an impeccably decorated loft apartment. She wears red rave booty shorts and a crop top with a knot detail. “Ooh, baby/ I’ma love you differently/ I’ll give you electricity/ Give it to you…” she moans in a husky voice.
There seems to be an electrical issue in the building, giving Diplo and Mark Ronson a slight pause in the elevator. Then Dua Lipa heads downstairs to a conveniently located super club like they have in vampire and hacker movies. She is already dressed for a rave but hopefully put on shoes.
