Sade’s First Single in 7 Years Is for A Wrinkle in Time

The new Sade song “Flower of the Universe” is easily the best song on the soundtrack for the Disney Movie, A Wrinkle in Time.

After a seven year hiatus singer songwriter Sade Adu is still going strong for “Flower of the Universe.” The track debuted on the A Wrinkle in Time soundtrack, which debuted this week.

In the new song Sade croons, “They hear you when you cry/This love is far and wide/When you smile the stars align/Flower of the universe/And child of mine…

Other entertainers included on the soundtrack are DJ Khaled with Demi Lovato, Sia, Kehlani, Chloe x Halle and Freestyle Fellowship. The score for the film is by Ramin Djawadi.

A Wrinkle in Time is a classic science fiction novel for young adults by Madeleine L’Engle that was first published in 1962. It recently premiered in theaters as a feature length Disney Movie starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling. The story follows a brother and sister on a journey through time and space to rescue their scientist father from aliens.

This movie is now playing in 3D and at IMAX. Visit the official Disney website to buy tickets. Listen to the rest of the soundtrack on Spotify. Or download it via Apple Music.

Reading science fiction is so galaxy goth. If you like mind bending movies then learn how to dress more like a character from The Matrix (1999).
