Alternative dance trio RÜFÜS DU SOL ride around on a loveseat for the entirety of the “Lost in My Mind” music video — off Solace LP.
“Lost in My Mind” is track eight on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s recent album Solace. They made a music video where they ride around through town on a beige loveseat and not much else happens.
“Walking and the sky keeps falling down/ I’m starting to notice a sound/ Everything around me hits the ground/ And I can’t escape it…” sings Tyrone Lindqvist, blonde frontman, in the chorus.
RÜFÜS DU SOL are Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, an alternative dance group. In Australia, the land of Pendulum and Cut Copy, they have dance bands, which we call production trios.
The last single we heard from Lindqvist, George and Hunt was “No Place” so it seems like the whole Solace album is a reflection on looking for something or even a longing to belong.
