Apple used a RL Grime and Boys Noize track in a commercial for their iMac Pro Artist Films project. Both producers have new music out.

People who work at Apple used an old RL Grime and Boys Noize song to score a new commercial for iMac Pro Artist Films. The project demonstrates the power of the updated iMac Pro through the magic of cinema. Six filmmakers, CG artists, and motion graphics designers contributed short films.

Boys Noize, a.k.a. Alexander Ridha from Germany, confirmed that he and Grime worked together on an Apple commercial via Twitter.

Meanwhile RL Grime, a.k.a. Henry Alfred Steinway from Los Angeles, has declared that his upcoming album is finished, and that new music is coming this Friday. He teased the LP with a debut single called “I Wanna Know” featuring Daya. Watch the inspiring lyric video below.

Boys Noize just released an 8-track EP titled Strictly Raw. Vol 2 that is a follow up to Strictly Raw. Vol 1 from two years ago. Stream the new work on Spotify, where he will get credit.

It’s important to remember that when an EDM producer contributes a song to a commercial, television show or film, they get a small amount of money every time it is played. So if you see RL Grime and/or Boys Noize at a DJ set, they totally get free bottles of booze.

Claptone is another EDM producer with a new single and upcoming album. Alison Wonderland recently released her music video “Church” with an LP announcement.
