REZZ Releases ‘Witching Hour’ off Upcoming LP

REZZ previewed her new album on Deadmau5’s label with the first single “Witching Hour” and a carnival themed visual.

REZZ, aka Isabelle Rezazadeh, has been working on an album titled Certain Kind of Magic that is out on August 3, 2018. In anticipation of the release on Mau5trap Recordings they release “Witching Hour” accompanied by a spooky carnival animation with Rezz’s trademark glowing glasses.

The instrumental track combines elements of electronic body music (EBM), new beat and techno, in a similar genre that Deadmau5 plays. It sounds like the soundtrack for a scary graveyard in a video game. The name of the album seems to have a carnival or haunted fun house theme.

Certain Kind of Magic is dropping on Deadmau5’s record label Mau5trap Recordings. There was confirmation they worked on at least one track together when the producer shared it via his official Instagram account. Most of the work is done remotely by email and text message.
