RETROSUPERFUTURE Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Glasses

The limited edition Antiquity Ilaria by RETROSUPERFUTURE commemorates their ten year anniversary. The glasses were conceived by a design student in Switzerland.

The RETROSUPERFUTURE Antiquity Ilaria sunglasses are here to mark the label’s tenth anniversary as a brand. According to the official Super by RETROSUPERFUTURE Instagram profile the concept for the limited edition sunglasses was developed at a ECAL, a prestigious design school in Switzerland.

The design for the sunglasses was part of a class project that asked students to interpret the RETROSUPERFUTURE ethos and history.

However one design with laurels stood out. Judges awarded the victory wreath to ANTIQUITY by Savvas Laz, who represents the brand as the designer of the limited 10th anniversary edition.

In ancient times laurel wreaths to victorious athletes in the Olympics. They used to be made of olive leaves from the foothills of Mt. Olympus, but now they are made out of aromatic bay laurel leaves.
